Privacy policy

This is a short privacy policy because we do not do very much with your data. If you have questions after reading it, our contact page is the fastest way to reach us.

Your tool input stays in your browser

Every tool on Asa Toolz is a client-side JavaScript program. The text you paste, the passwords we generate for you, the files you encode — none of it is sent to a server. Nothing is logged. Nothing is stored. Close the tab and the data is gone.

Server logs

Our hosting provider writes standard access logs — IP address, user agent, the page requested, a timestamp — which are kept for a short period to help debug problems and block abuse. These logs are not linked to any profile of you.

Cookies and tracking

We do not set tracking cookies. We do not embed third-party analytics that build individual profiles. If we add privacy-respecting usage analytics in future (for example, aggregate page-view counts that cannot be tied to a person), we will update this page before enabling them.

Fonts and CDNs

The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. Loading a font makes a request to Google's servers, which by default includes your IP address and the font URL. We use this only to deliver the fonts; we have no access to the logs Google keeps.

Email

If you email us, we keep the email until the conversation is resolved. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share your address with anyone.

Children

Asa Toolz is safe for general audiences, but it is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.

Changes

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, the "Last updated" date above will change too.
